What is Power Flushing?

Power Flush is a recommended method of cleaning the entire Central Heating System to remove the build up of sludge, corrosion, debris and / or lime scale.

When is it used?

Prior to the installation and commissioning of a replacement Boiler to an existing System and when problems such as partially cold Radiators, cold spots, longer than usual period of time for Radiators to heat up, poor circulation, blockages, noisy Boilers and de-scaling, become eminent.

How does it work ?

The Power-Flush Unit is connected to the Central Heating System in a manner that is suitable and most appropriate. The Unit incorporates a powerful water pump that circulates a chemical compound and water through the System Radiators, Boiler and the Pipe work. The Soluble chemical works to loosen and dissolve the build up of Grime which is finally discharged externally via a Delivery Pipe connected to a Dumping Valve located within the Unit.

Why Power-Flush ?

An internally clean system offers better circulation resulting in rapid transfer of heat to radiators delivering quicker convection, and thus allowing the desired room temperature sensing device to be reached sooner. This in turn enables a room temperature sensing device send a periodical signal to the Boiler which then regulates the intake of GAS, thereby contributing not only to low consumption og Gas and / or fuel bills but also reducing the level of emissions into the atmosphere.
